Sri Meganadha Swamy is a Hindu temple located at Thirumeeyachur in Tiruvarur district, Tamil Nadu, India. The presiding deity is Shiva. He is called as Meganathaswami. His consort is known as Lalithambika.

It is one of the shrines of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams – Shiva Sthalams glorified in the early medieval Tevaram poems by Tamil Saivite Nayanar Tirugnanasambandar.  Lord Siva is Swayambumurthy in the temple. Mother Lalithambika is seated on the Sri Chakra Raja Simhasana-throne with her Abhaya  Hasatha Mudra – assuring all  protection to devotees – with her folded right leg placed on the left as Empress. Mother Lalithambika is all powerful. The rays of Sun fall on the Lord from Chithirai 21-27 (April – May). Special Surya Pooja is performed during these days.

The nearest railway station is Peralam in between Mayiladuthurai and Thiruvarur.

It is well connected by road and one km. away from west of Peralam. All the buses from Mayiladuthurai and Thiruvarur routed through Peralam Bus Stop where you can get down. Karaikal to Peralam is 25 kms. by road.
